Simple question.

Why can't I ask questions in the Cars For Sale thread? I'm just here trying to buy an Evo.

50 posts required to start a thread there. stops spammers. and so forth

PM people in the sale form or talk about the posts that are already going.

Yeah, well kind of. I had an STi, got finished with it. Decided to sale it. Bought a Type-R in January to get me by till the 09 STi's came out and it got stolen on Saturday. Which doesn't really hurt my feelings because I planned on selling it to buy an evo or older STi for the meantime.

That sucks man! Sorry to hear ya lost your type-R. Definately drive them both before buying. I believe we have a buyer's guide somewhere around here when getting an Evo...what kind you looking for? I would suggest a IX GSR SE if possible.

Im definitely getting an 8. I really dont want to spend over 20k because I dont plan on keeping the car long. I need one that will last and I can resale and get most of my money back.

I looked at an 03 lastnight. It was uber clean, but had a rear dif/tranny/drivetrain clunk so Im not sure if its a motor mount or some of the bushings or what. Im going to look at a few more over the next few days to see what I can find. And I am also picky about the color, white=sex, black second fav., yellow third fav, then blue. Silver and red is out of the question.

eeesh another Type-R Stolen.. those should come with 2way alarms, LoJack, and an Alpha Lock for all for wheels from the factory..

in terms of the Evo, the VIII will serve you well. Why the change from an STi?
