Do it. I also came from being an f-body owner, and as has been stated, the low end is not nearly the same, but everything else is far and away better. With a few basic mods you'll be back close to the LS1 speedwise.

I bought my 05 RS with 16,000 miles on it just over a year ago for a bit less than what they want for the one you're looking at.

Sport sound and leather. You get I think don't hold it to me sunroof, hids, better sound system and the leather recaros.
