Buying an evo! weeee!

hey guys. i am kind of new to the this, i never had an account until now but i would always come here and read up on things, but now the time has come and i am thinking of buying and evo 9 mr se. But i do need some help on pointers and things to look for when test driving it and checking it out. a while back i read a thread on this and i tryed searching for it first but i coudnt find anyhitng on it. idk if i was doing it wrong or i just wasnt finding it. i searched for "Buying and evo", "things to look for when buying an evo". and "stock evo boost". So i am sry in advance if i offend ne one if this tread was made alrdy.

So if any one can give me a few tips for example things to look for in the motor. (wich i want the veh to be stock)
also the boost gauge, where is that soppose to be at while driving?

Thx Thx Thx

listen to anything that might sound stange, pop hood, make sure theres no major scraches, check the VIN to see if any previous accidents or records, ask owner about car -details
