go to the X section , look around. Check for problems. The car is out couple months.
Then come back here check for problems, too. The car is out for years.
Then write it down what you see... add the price. and then decide.

If I didnt have an evo I would buy a IX. The X's are having problems with idling where the rpms jump around and the car stalls out. I have heard it only happens to only a few of X's and Mitsubishi is designing a flash for the car that the dealerships will use to fix this problem. You can also wait until the problem is fixed and buy a X.
I went and looked at the new X's at my dealership a few weeks ago and they do look good, but they are an absolute ripoff right now. Everything is marked up $3,000 at my dealership and even for a regular GSR its probably close to $41-42K out the door.
I don't plan on getting rid of my IX since its the last 4G63 Evo and the last of that body style. I may add a X to the collection later on if they come down in price and don't prove to be a POS.

dont listen to your sister and mother im pretty sure they dont know what those cars a capable of.. they're just thinking in here heads (ohh that 1 yes dear get that 1 its much cuter..) trust me thats how my mother is.. ohh why not that one its so much cuter.. she wanted me to get a brand new si 2007 over an evo -.- my father told her the evo was nicer but noo idk whats in womens heads..

I voted IX. Just cuz I like the look better, and you can get one cheaper and spend the left over money on mods. But you should drive them both and do the whole pros and cons thing and figure out which is best for you.
