I said good numbers and I bet it's a conservative and solid tune.

Dude, if you are still running a cat, that is your reason right there!!!

You're not getting the most out of your mods with a cat still on the car.

I have the same BR exhaust with Cat and my Tq. was a little lower than I would of liked but my car is solid on a flash just like this one is.

you gotta remember, compared to other dynos the mustang at BR reads a little lower. IMO you dont have much to worry about

Test pipes really do choke the effectiveness of cams up top in the power. I've seen cammed Evos with cats make 345 WHP Dynojet and then a test pipe non-cammed Evo make 340 WHP. Test pipes are so cheap (Mine was $70), there isn't much of a reason not to get them.

Side note/my opinion on TPs:
Some say it is bad for the environment, but in reality cats don't help much at all. It was just some emissions law that required them that got passed as pork in some other bill. Chemically, the emissions out of a catted car and a non-catted one are just as harmful. Just different chemical compositions of the exhaust. They tried to pick the lesser of the two evils, but they're really both bad.

Alright, thanks all. I guess if the cat is the problem I will go ahead and order one. Should be simple enough to put on, and if I'm still looking for a little more i will go ahead and get a retune, thanks for everyone's imput

Boy, with that setup and you only make 300hp? I guess mine will not even be close to 280?! I'll just have to wait and see for myself.

I feel this was an very conservative tune (understatement maybe?). My guess: no more than 19 psi. If this is the case, he really needs to turn one of those knobs under the hood.
