Hello there, welcome to evom, you will learn lots of things. I would go with a IX if you are not planing to mod it. But either way you will love it, im sure.

As for the GSXR... how do you like it? Im thinking about picking one up. But im fairly big, not fat.. 6'5" 280, and wondering how the ride would be...

thanks for the welcome and advice...

i like the 07 gixxer though i did fit my 02 R6 better and its not as comfortable riding as my old cbr... and since i'm just 5'9" 170 i can't say how well it would fit you... the rearsets are 3 way adjustable though so u can kinda custom fit your ride position... though i sat on all the new sportsbikes and can't tell too much of a difference nowadays... plus if your looking for a real comfortable ride sportbikes arent gonna be as good as a standard more upright bike...

Welcome here, if you are looking for something that you don't want to mod then I strongly suggest a IX. I still have a hard time believing how hard my totally stock IX pulls whenever I drive it. Whatever you decide the Evo is great fun to drive and it makes a pretty decent daily driver too. Good luck.
