You have to be more detailed in your question. Is there a problem in the trans or with the clutch? What is you question?

You really need to listen and get a feel for it. It's not like your going to be looking at your RPM gauge the whole time your driving. When your racing, it's a different story. I can't hear **** when I have a helmet on and am known for bouncing off the rev limiter before shifting. I have a shift light on the way.

If you are racing then its good to shift right around where the car makes peak power. I believe the Evos power peak is around 6500 RPM so shifting right there or a few hundred RPM higher is fine. When cruising I usually shift between 3-3,500 RPM and its does fine like that. After you drive the car for a while you will be able to just "shift by ear" and it will pretty much become natural to you. Give it time and you will get it.
