hey guys! i just wanted to introduce myself here on evom forums.
last week i found an evo for sale in my area, went looked at it, test drove it etc. and fell inlove. haha so i applied for a loan and should be getting my 2006 Evo IX SE in Graphite Grey by mid next week
im stokkkeedd.
ive been huge into the honda scene for the past 2 years, i learned how to work on cars with hondas, swaps rebuilds, build etc. and im looking forward to trying out mitsubishi
once i get the car i will post up pics!!
oh! and is there anyone in the DFW TX area that i might be able to talk to someone experienced in evos that can give me advice if i need any

Welcome here. Congrats on getting an SE, they are my favorite version. Just keep in mind that you can't bang shift the Mitsu trans like the Honda trans. You should get used to the driving experience quickly though. You'll love the Evo, prepare for the modding bug to get a hold of you too.

haha well, when i test drove it, i did shift it like it was a honda and heard the "bang" like somethings in the trunk. he assured me if you shifted the wrong way it does that.
as for the "modding bug" ive gone thru that with hondas, and ive already begun to search for things and shop for bolt ons
