spoiler remove?
theres a screw or 2 on each side under the trunk... and the adhesive they put under there is straong as hell... i used a shoelace and put it under there and pulled hard, almost rippin my fingers off, but beware that there's a clip in there so if whatever u use isn't goin anywhere, your at the clip!! hope this helps somewhat?
two bolts on each side. use a 10mm socket and short extension one is a bolt the other is a nut. take those off. then pull on the wing with the trunk closed. pull frot to back back to front wiggle a little. if that doesn't work or you fell you are pulling to hard. then stop and use some fishing line to slide between the wing and lid. it also helps if your car has been sitting in the sun for a little bit. keep working and it will come off.
You should really use a heat gun to soften the adhesive. If you just pull you can either pull the aluminium up on the trunk or miss align the trunk.
Also, a plastic spreader or squeege helps separate the adhesive and trunk/spoiler.
Then you may want to get some polish or compound for the trunk it you are staying wingless.
Oh, and get some plugs or stickers for the holes.

I actually used a hair dryer on Hot. Fish line works great to easily work under the wing and seperate it from the adhesive. The adhesive is very strong though!
I ended up putting the wing back on though. Just not an Evo without the wing IMO.
What I noticed with the wing off:
- You don't draw much attention to yourself (from cops or other drivers)
- The handling is a little squirlier in the rear without the wing.

iam pretty sure the trunk is steel, once you remove the 4 bolts/nuts just rock it back and forth like someone already stated, your gonna have some tape still stuck on the trunk i know i shoudnt of but i used wd40 to remove the goey stuff, and then i clean and waxed it. you dont need to worry about water getting in cause its in the drain channel any way
"Goof off" works good for the adhesive after the wing is removed and it is safe for the paint.
BTW, when I said "squirly", I meant the the rear tends to slide out more (ie.. loss of traction) when cornering hard at speed
