Merely seeking some advice with this 03 evo 8 that i am the new owner of. I am chasing 400whp+ these are the mods that the car already has. I just sold my dsm so ive got some extra cash. Seeking your advice thank you!

3076r turbo kit (or a kit of your choice), injectors and a tune...

 

x2 or fp green turbo.


NO WAY in hell your gonna get to 400 on that stock 03 9.8 turbo.

Alky kit running 100% meth and good tune should get you close.

 

evo IX turbo + race gas you can make 400+ no problem.. on an VIII turbo i dont think so..

Oh P.S. i wasn't planning on using the stock evo8 turbo i read that the 9 turbo would be nice for 400whp i guess i could run with that or just find a nice kit. Ive seen a few kits but they are in the 3k region any idea if there are any cheaper kits or solutions to my goals? its possiable but its gonna be a very uphill struggle, look at curt brown...i would go with some more agressive cams to get a bigger top end, but thats just my .02c

 

make sure u get a set of rods cuz ur gonna bend em when u hit 400whp...

 

I had BC280's in my dsm and to be honest i really do not want to upgrade cams ive seen others attain my goal hp with similar base set up as mine. Thanks for suggestion though welcomed anytime! LOL damn i thought 400whp was safe for stock bottom end? Didn't want to touch that part.
