Gauge question.
Gauge question.
Hello, sorry if this has been asked before, i searched but... Only problem is i'm not sure what i'm searching for haha. But. I noticed on the 03 evo's the cluster looks like this:

But the 06's look like this:

So my question is, why do the 06's have the "Tarmac, Gravel" and "Snow" options in the RPM gauges and the 03's don't? Is this a really "defining" feature between the two? Some sort of traction control system or something? Or is it not really noticeable when driving or anything. I'm going to get an evo but i'm not sure on an 8 or 9 yet. Thanks all, and sorry again if this is a repeat thread.
