Just bought an evo
You seem like a mature guy with a good head on your shoulders..... always a plus. Congrats on the car and I know the wait is killing you
+1.... my first thoughts exactly.
As for mileage I'm sure you can find plenty of threads. I think the best I ever got was 302 on a tank of gas..... of course this was with the light being on for a few miles before I reached the gas station... and no boosting... lol

The car may have been modded and put back to stock. It's rare to see an Evo with a CF exhaust shield and no aftermarket exhaust, and CF fenders with no other mods. BTW, as you plan to take the car on desert roads, you may want to look into a suspension upgrade in lieu of the Tien springs. Do a search for Tien. Good luck.

Congrats on your new Evo. You will love the car as everyone already said so. I also agree with others, as long as you keep up with the maintenance there should be no problems. I wouldn't worry about the mileage. I personally think that 60K is not much for 4G63 motor even if it was "drive hard" every now and then.
There's always an option later down the road: pull the motor, rebuild and upgrade and keep flying over again.

Make sure all proper maintenance has been done. All fluids (oil, t-case, tranny, rear diff., etc.), belts (timing, etc.) Any service records come with it? Plan on spending a little bit of $$$ to be safe instead of sorry. Other than that, have fun and be safe.
