megan is a china brand ebay exhuast. It did pass the beer can test, but for the money it's great the only thing is their down pipe fits crapy and made with a cheap flex pipe that cracks easy from launching or power shifting.

I don't understand what you mean about crappy fit or what your saying about a flex pipe. I don't have a flex on mines and that downpipe appears to be very rigid at least in my case. I believe the downpipe and turbo back have been revised, because the pieces I recieved were great quality especially for the money. I just find it unfair to make a general statement on an exhaust that has pretty much the best bang for buck I have seen, and the numbers to back it.

Band clamps are lighter and don't need for gasket replacements the buschur tbe with test pipe has the least bends which is also important to think about AND IT'S MADE IN THE USA.
Yeah, I heard the one on youtube, the bullet buschur clip, sounded pretty bad. I want a good deep tone. The Bushur is band clamps? nice. I'll have to check that out. Thanks

Bet you the buschur tbe makes the most power out of all the exhuast on the market and lightest too,but not campared to a titianium,is about 10pounds while the buschur is 22pounds thats pretty light for stainless steal.maybe they changed the megan downpipe but i remember it had a flex pipe down at the bottom where it connects to the cat.also why put on ebay exhuast on a evo there not hondas, you pay for what you get.

It is mind boggling just how little people read about OP's questions before they post.

I would contact the specific manufacturer and ask what year their prototype was fitted to. I believe it it fits a ACD VIII or a IX, then it will also fit a non-ACD VIII.

Read the post agian i said the buschuar clears the acd,and fits perfect also you keep the lower tie bars.plus he said we wanted to spend aroud 900 so for that much money is better to go with quality, and something thats proven to make power.it's funny how people just come in a thread give advise and don't even own a evo,and then have the nerve to post something saying i believe it clears the acd' if your not positive don't don't give advise to someone.

not all 8s and 9s are different. My 8 MR has the ACD and I have the same issue with the downpipe. RMR makes a strut brace that will allow it to fit all the 3 inch pipes for like 184 bucks. It's a bit stiffer than the origional brace as well and gives you some much needed room down there
