IX turbo back exhaust question
dbsears i dont know which buschur turboback you had bet i can bet you the downpipe i got form buschur is full 3 inch including the flange. The statement referring to the o2 makes no sense,as far as looks i love the look of the buschu bullet setup it sound mean,and looks stock im into the stealth look.If been around the game along time and im sick of the stupid tin can fart can look.Now you said you picked 10 ft more tq,with a tanabe im sorry i don't belive that.Now far as the 3inch downpipe concerns if there was no increased power why would almost every company make one.If it was like you said they would offer 2.25 ich pipe and mention that if you running bigger turbo use a 3.00inch and for stock turbo 2.25.I don't know were you got your information but it's diffent wrong.I gurante you that the buschur setup makes more power then a tanabe,i have a buschur setup on my car ,stock cams and i make more power then people with upgraded intercoolers,hard pipes and cams.I friend of mine has the tanabe concept blue and it sounds distorted,and broken up plus the canister looks to small for the bumper reminds me of a mini apexi n1.Slip fits are way better then flanges no gaskets to change and ligher weight,now for slip joints leaking, you have use bend clamps and tighten down with air gun once it makes a tight seal it won't leak,but if you take of the clamps thats have tigten down then you have to replace them with a new one because the stainles tends to strect out.Humm for one you need to read my post clearer. Two if you dont believe me about most Bucshur flanges being 2.5in maybe you should venture out of the newbie section and read Buschurs post for yourself. He specifically stated there was NO power gain over 2.5in flange on stock turbo car. Remember your flow is limited to your most restrictive part.
Again I said looks is subjective but you are quite crazy if you think that exhaust is quiet and stockish looking. They make awesome power and are nice exhausts but dont fool yourself into saying they are stealth.
Also I dont know if you have ever looked at the stock o2 but its 2.25in. I did gain 10lbs or torque over my other 3in downpipe with 0 hp loss. I make over 350whp and have had multiple downpipes. Trust me I would have the one that make the most power. Why dont you go look at alot of the major Norcal tuners or even some of the tuners on the Ecuflash section and see what they run.
I don't usually post over here but I think its quiet funny how some knowledge is thrown around sometimes.

Read my post again, i said stealth looking not sounding and i also said mean sounding.My evo made well over 350whp, 360tq i'm glad you like your tanabe downpipe with cut weilded up elbows,by the way your a little crazy because in other post your mentioned that buchur's stuff is ugly,and now your saying they look nice
Nowhere did I say "nice looking". Nice as in fabrication quality. I am sorry if you can't understand that. You can nitpick at having welds in the Tanabe downpipe. Is it one of the most popular downpipe for the IX's and the fit and finish is the best you can get. But I am sure you wouldn't know that since you have been here what.... 1 month 
Go do a little research before acting like you know everything.

Alright clown,your the one with the little kid attiude my downpipe is better then yours crap.As long your happy with downpipe that's all that matters,if you now everything and have been a member on this form for 2 years why are you in this section anyway.
