RPW might be good for "stages" too. And there would be different stages for NA and turbo. Generally intake/headers/exhaust would be "Stage 0" and you'd work up from there.
mostly what you'll hear about in stage 0 are %age gains. and most of those (esp the higher numbers) are claims at the flywheel.

RRM had an article about a logical modification pattern on this site. Ask him or Mark (KK) if they can find it for you. But it is true that mod pattern depends on what you want to do with your car. Me being the hardcore autocrosser, I did suspension first, strut bar, shocks/springs, then sway bar. Now I'm working on the engine, intake, header, exhaust, ecu. The I'll get a seat to hold me in place and that's it (except for cosmetic things). But you could be doing drag racing, or making a show car. Anyway, just ask them.

For about $1500~2000 for their Stage 1&2 engine modifications, you're looking at problems with warranty, smog check, increased engine noise, extra fuel consumption, and damage to our environment due to removal of catalytic converters...

All I would do is toss in a 75 shot of nitrous, high flow cat, and 2 inch piping... And you'll see a much higher gain than the list they had, without most of the problem I had just listed.

Ah but you must also take into considerat that Lancers and nitrous is a well known bad combination. **** poor pistons will do that to ya. Argh. As far as piping, 2.5" seems to be perfectly acceptable with nothing but positive gains in both TQ and HP according to Buschur's chart of an intake, downpipe, test pipe and a cat back meaning straight 2.5" piping from the first cat to the bumper.
