Air Force, yes that is true They can be very expensive for a younger Airman to afford an Evo, maintenance costs, insurance, gas, tires, clutch, etc. You may be able to afford the car but driving it and maintaining it cost almost as much. When I first came in I wouldn't of been able to do it.

im enlisting in the marines july first, maybe sooner if they can get me down to enlist. And i find myself in the same dilemma. I like fantasize over evo's, it has became more of an obsession and i dont even own one yet, but i will as soon as i get out of bootcamp. Im buying a freaking evo. shoot i can live off of ramen noodles forever if i have to.

I am an E-4 in the AF and I'm on my second Evo. I got a great deal on a brand new IX, $460 payment and $100 monthly on insurance. I got orders to Japan and sold it. Now I have a 1996 Evo IV I picked up for under $5k with 80k miles. But, I have seen many guys right out of tech school get in over their heads trying to afford car payments and all the expenses that come along with it.

I got mine ordered before it came to the states while i was in iraq. Im only paying $312 a month payment and $203 a month insurance which includes my girls SRT-4 all you have to do is get used to eating instant noodles . At .09 cents a meal you save money
