I get 18.5-19.5 no matter where I drive in my IX MR

I do not know what a full tank would be, because I try not to let it get below 1/3 or so

I get about 5-6 at the track though

I usually get ~24mpg with an IX MR. My commute is very MPG friendly- almost all highway with no stop and go and only a few traffic lights. And I'm sure I drive very conservatively for an Evo owner- not WOT every chance I get and not 85mph.

And like others have said, you really need to talk MPG not miles/tank. It's 3rd grade math... But if you're weak on math skills, LOL, I can get 300+ miles/tank.

I do usually roll at about 70-75 on the highway though. Maybe I should drop down to 60?
There's your answer right there going faster than 60. The amount of power(fuel) required to hold higher speeds doesn't increase linearly. Although it may seem like your going really slow on the freeway it's the best way to net better mileage

Not all folks that own evos have the means for a commuter car and a weekend bruiser. If they drive it daily it's still beneficial to try to eek out every last ounce of economy out of there one and only machine.

Speaking of awesome mileage, I might actually buy one of those Yamaha scooters. I know they're kind of gay, but I rode my boss's scooter (he has five bikes total, some cruisers, some crotchrockets and a scooter) and it's not too bad... plus it's very inexpensive and gets over 100 mpg, even with his 260+ lb., 6'5" *** on it.

LOL kinda funny seeing someone that big driving around on a scooter. Atleast since he owns bikes he knows to be safe. I notice a lot of people are buying them and driving them around my area. Most have no fricking clue about riding a two wheeled vehicle, let alone at 30-50mph in traffic. They should make people get a license to operate those things.

Best 27, Worst 19, AVG 24

Mostly highway, mostly above 70, and some "boosted" driving in between

Dudes, its all about how you drive the car...
