AEM/Injen Cold AIr Intake (5-Speed Manual)
Injen / RMR Short Ram Intake (Automatic / Manual)

GReddy Evo Catback
RMR Test Pipe
Kamikaze / RRM Headers / Downpipe

Those are your basic bolt ons.

Pricing Goes:

AEM Cold Air: $220
Injen Cold Air: $240
GReddy Catback: $480
Kamikaze Headers + Downpipe: $280

Thats just a rough price range...

I'm starting to realize that the hardcore show cars that actually win trophies (at least here in Cali) have turbos. You don't need to run a lot of boost, but having the colorful piping and intercooler gives you too many show points to lose to a regular car. Or if you're creative enough, you could just get some colorful piping and hoses and a "fake" intercooler (radiator or something), but somebody would notice. The get an RRM strut bar since it's colored. Don't forget the silicon hose kit to match the strut bar. Otrher than that, like imapunkclaimer mentioned, the AEM and Injen intakes are good looking, and I've seen some colorful "torched" mufflers on ebay.

Best bet would almost be to go ahead and throw down 4 grand for a turbo. That'll get you upwards of 180-200 whp depending on how much boost you can SAFELY run.

If you don't wanna go turbo, the biggest gains will be from a cam (and AFC to properly tune), header, and ECU reflash/engine management.

The cam will run you around $400 plus install .
Header will run around $350.
ECU reflash/engine management will run around $500-$600.

"Smaller" mods like intake ($200), exhaust ($300), and testpipe ($75) will help, but aren't as much bang for the buck.

intake is rated #1 for hp per dollar spent on naturally aspirated mods, so that would probably be your number one bet. It is also the most visual mod you will have under your hood. So I'd start with that, then exhaust to compliment the intake.

Don't mean to sound like a dick here but... Are you trying to make your car GO fast? Or LOOK fast. And how much money are you looking to spend? You have to realize that the 2.0L engine CAN be made pretty quick but you'll have to be willing to put some work into it.

My own addition/correction is work and/or money.

i would just get a cold air intake, headers and downpipe. big mufflers look tacky as hell and i dunno if its just me but the gassy sound of an exhaust bugs me.
