Coming from a WRX

I wanted to introduce myself. I just got rid of my wrx, I loved her but it couldn't handle what I wanted. It had 365whp and 380 torque to the wheels. I got an 06 EVO IX. it has 18012 miles on it and is completely stock. My plans are Full Turboback exhaust, Injen intake with LICP, Boost controller, Cams (don't know to much about them) and Tune! I have to say I love the car and it handles SOOOO much better! But I am very excited about the new car and can't wait to get to modding!

Welcome to Evom. dude, dont go with the injen stuff it's all junk and doesnt ever fit right. Your best bet will be to go with ETS(extremeturbosystems)3.5 catless tbe, and their uicp and licp and intake. And for cams go with the gsc 1's. happy boosting

I've heard ETS is prone to rust ...and Idk about you, but I wouldn't want loose rust within my IC pipes because the next place they'll go is into your engine.

Evo's are alot easier and cheaper to mod then sti's ,with 1,500 hundred dollars you could run high 11's to low,low 12's with a tbe, intake, fuel pump, boost controller, and a aggresive tune on 93oct.Just make sure you do your research well before buying your tbe and tune because all tbe are not created equal.Give you an example my friend had a hks tbe and then swicthed to a different tbe and picked 25whp over it.Adding cams won't make a huge difference until you upgrade your stock turbo,no if you did go with cam's stock turbo get the gsc1 and if upgrade the turbo then cosworh m2 cam's with upgraded valve train and arp studs. On a stock turbo you pick up around 15 to 20 whp but with a bigger turbo your looking at 40 to 60 whp evo 9 mivec cam's are great factory cam's that why the 9's are better then evo 8 mivec power.BYE THE WAY GOOD IDEA UPGRADING TO EVO FROM A SLOBARU HATE THE SOUND THEY MAKE THEY SOUND LIKE SOMEONE STUCK A BANNANA IN THE TAILPIPE AND THEY DRIVE A FEEL LIKE OLDMAN'S CAR CRAPPY OVERSTEAR,SMALL *** TURBO,AND CHEAP ULIUMINUM BLOCK THAT THE MOST BOOST YOU CAN RUN IS 21TO 22PSI IF YOUR LUCKY STOCK EVO'S RUN 23TO 25PSI NO PROBLEN WITH A GOOD TUNE.

Are you retarted? Cams do so much no matter what your running, with a proper tune you gain alot of power. And there was just a bigass thread on all the injen icp and intake and 95% of the people that posted about it said it was junk. Ets stuff is awesome, just talk to ETS TOM about it he'll tell u everything u need to know about it all. I've never heard of ETS stuff rusting. Happy boosting

When did this all jump back into 2nd grade? wow

Whatever makes you sleep at night, drop the bullsh!t now.

Anyways EVOIXreno, just talk to some of the vendors and look at reviews and you'll find exactly what your looking for. Ets makes some really good products and I only recommend them because I talk to Ets Tom almost everyday and he answers all of my questions honestly. I've heard of people having problems with the fitment on the injen stuff and the piping popping loose even with different clamps, research is the key. Sometimes finding the best deals isnt always best. Just my .02
