I'm actually wanting to add the SE lip to my car.
I have an SSL and having a sunroof wasn't something really cared about. I like the leather seats and the sound system is plenty for me. My car actually didn't have the sub when I bought it. Whoever owned it before me felt the need to remove my floor, carpet, and sub from the rear.

Compared to the SE not much, it has Bilsteins instead of KYB's and alot softer ride. I will say the MR has a sweet ride and in stock form has slightly better handling. The 6 speed is hit or miss, actually both are with synchro problems. If you want all the goodies and the 5sp the SE is where it's at.

I would not think the handling would be so significant right after all evo's are known to have great handling at high speeds?

also...Would be be much of trouble to add the bilsteins to an SE or maybe something better for a soft ride in the se as well?

Easy swap and I said slightly better handling and yes it's proven.

I'll stand up for the SSL here... I'm personally very happy with it. Since it's my daily driver the sunroof really won me over. I don't ever drive without it open.

The SE lip is definitely nicer, but i just replaced my stock one with a CF JDP lip so hey, no complaints here. I <3 my leather seats too. Sound system won't blow your socks off but it's more than loud enough to be heard clearly while driving down the highway with all windows down and sunroof open. Either way you will be happy.

Thinking about getting the SE, but for a DD, I might just get a SSL and trade Seats. That way I can have the Sunroof which if I have...I will use, and then have teh nice SE seats and sound is always good. I'd replace the lip anyways...but I'd have the get HIDs.
