There is the Carbon Ti Catback i know and there is a hks downpipe, but it's 2.75 inch. I don't thing there is a hks testpipe. I've heard a lot good things about owners that have it, but I have heard a lot of bad things about the fitment on it. I'm pretty sure it will have fitment issues, especially on the Evo. I think this catback is more about style than performance. That's my opinion though.

 

any exhaust will run smoothly and its usually ok to mismatch companies on ur exhaust system

 

The less mismatching, the better. That's for sure.

 

I had the HKS dp and catback on my 05 evo and that exhaust sucked ***, way too much money for how horribly it performs.

 

See what I mean. Choose a better performing cat back and combine it with the DC Sports downpipe with cat-delete. If that doesn't work out, then go for the AMS 3 inch turbo back with the test pipe (849.00+shipping on amsperformance.com). Keep researching because I'm not impressed with HKS.

 

Yea, like someone else said its for looks, it looks cool, but from what I just saw, sucks at performance.

I disagree... HKS Silent Highpower FTW!

It's quiet at idle and RAW under load...

AMS turbo back off road only - as the cat is removed, therefore not road legal.

IMO HKS stuff rocks!

just hack your stock muffler off and go to big als muffler shop and have a "universal" muffler put on...
