ACD vs no ACD? or STi?

Alright.. As everyone has heard by now the laws have changed in Canada allowing us to import Evos.

I just sold my (from Japan) 1992 Version 1 wrx.. The thing was a hoot to drive light GC chassis + 240 hp is a good combo..

Now I need something to replace it with. For years I've wanted an '04 or '05 (preferably) STi. With the new laws and from everything I've heard about the Evo I'm thinking that might even suit me better as it seems that Evo's tend to oversteer more where STi tend to understeer..

I did a buncha searching, read all about what the ACD does but am looking for some real world day to day driving opinions.

How big of a difference does ACD make? If not a heck of a lot.. I can keep looking for '03s.. If it's a must have and makes a huge difference I'd rather wait and find the perfect '05..

Your opinions and advice are greatly appreciated!

thanks

ACD > Sti

Enough said. It is well worth buying a model that has it.

I get more understeer on mine. But I do not have a upgraded rear sway bar, from what I read you get more oversteer with that. I would like to hear other peoples opinion on this too.

I like ACD for really snowy conditions, but I don't think it should be a deal breaker.

Yeah this is what I'm wondering.. There's so many 03s out there for a good deal.. If it isn't substantially better it seems like it's one more thing to go wrong ?

Someone, somewhere has gotta have a comparo between the two in similar conditions..

What do you plan to do with the vehicle? Daily driver? high power? track car?
