exedt twin hd - a bit overkill for your mods but if you intend to do more mods it might be the right clutch for you. It is also more money and makes a bit more noise than the act.

I have more then my share of roasted clutches, Stock, Exedy Triple carbon, 2 Exedy HD twin(Rebuilt once for $500 LIKE NEW-was told by rebuilder it didn't need rebuilt, but I "freshened it up" anyway!) The exedy twins should last along time, are more expensive, slightly stronger then stock feel, but close. not much noise at all on my twin. Never had ACT clutches, they are less expensive, some talk about high RPM "Lock out", not sure what that is either. Contact ACTman on this site, he has all your answers. So does Steve or Chris at nolimitmotorsport http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/. Ask them which is best for you. they WILL have your answers, and they are cool as hell. Good luck.

I would have to agree with most that your clutch is going out. With your new mods and your 3K rpm when the turbo will kick in with high boost it is most likely pushing your cluch harder than it can handle. Good Luck

Question???

Now that I know that my clutch needs a replacement...Will I mess up my car if I keep driving until I do the replacing? The car is not the same since the clutch is bad, but will I mess up my car or make the situation worst if I keep driving it for a week or or so???

You're right, the slipping is getting worst...But do you think I could mess up my car if I keep driving to and from work for this entire week or so?

Thanks "Redline-Z". That makes sense...I'll stay out of boost and I'll shift easy for the time being. Thanks for great help everyone! Means very much.

You may still have vacuum lines off the intake manifold.

There are about 15 connections that can come loose off the intake manifold, throttle body, EGR and solenoids.

Oh heck...more worries for me. I think I better have my car checked out completely.
I don't what's going on with my car now days. Ever since I got my mods done, all these maintenance issues keep coming up with my Evo. It's crazy and frustrating.

I almost exactly have about 17,000 miles on my stock clutch. I'm sure that my clutch is slipping and I plan on replacing my clutch/flywheel with the ACT Street Disc Clutch/ACT Streetlite Flywheel.
