Good luck taking on a C5 they are excellent handling stock if he's got any mods on it he may out run you. You have the traction advantage though. Let us know how it goes!

 

yeah i know it's pretty quick, i rode with him in may when we were up there. We passed an evo like it was standing still on the front straight but it was blowing black smoke out of the exhaust so i took it as he had a bad/no tune. They are bypassing the front straight for a "short course" so that will be to my advantage. I would think i would push it a bit more than he did but if this is my DD i better be a bit on the careful side.

i got my totally stock '05 SSL with 18k a year ago for $23k... i was literally there AT the dealership just as the previous 40-something owner was driving it in for a trade... talk about lucky. i basically put dibs on it right there after checking it out and picked it up a week later.

my case was reallly lucky but you got a great deal.
