3" DP Recommendations

Hey you guys,

I'm in the market searching for a 3" DP and I'm looking for quality and no fitment issues (I have an Evo IX and I've read that the DP's need to clear the ACD). I've been looking at the following:

Megan Evo IX DP
Perrin Evo IX DP
Agency Power Evo IX DP

I'm kind of looking at the Agency Power DP because I just like the fact that it'll match my Agency Power cat-back. I will be getting the mil.spec 100 cell cat, and if ever I wanted to get a TP I could get the Agency Power one to make it an Agency Power TBE. I know its silly, but I just have a thing for stuff that matches. Do you guys have any suggestions on things to get? Thanks in advance EvoM.

The Cobb Downpipe clears AWD, I run it myself but if you want stuff matching then by all means go for the agency power DP

Anyone have experience with the 3" Agency Power DP? Fitment issues? Problems?

The Megan and Perrin will fit with no issues. I run the Perrin in my car, and that's what I recommend to most of my customers. It's light, SS, full 3", and a great value. I can't speak for the Agency Power DP as we've never sold one.
Best,

The Megan is a great deal. It clears the acd well and it makes good power.

I have the DC Sports downpipe with the cat-delete. I bought it from JSC SPEED.com for $256 with free shipping. I have an Evo IX MR and it fits perfectly and it has very good quality. If you're getting the Agency catback, then I would probably get the same brand of downpipe since you saw one. I have my 80 mm Trust Ti-R and I have no regrets with my 3 inch DC Sports downpipe. All the best!

You could have a custum on from a local exhaust shop. I did for $110 full 3" with cat delete built in..

Hey Max...if you feel confident in getting a custom downpipe, then go for it. Many people went with the DC Sports downpipe and combined it with the Greddy Ti. Since I have the Trust Ti-R (the new version of the Greddy Ti), I knew that the DC sports downpipe would fit very good. My tuner did the entire install for me and he said that the DC Sports is one of the best fitting downpipes for the Evo. My tuner works on hundreds of Evo's a year.

Contact the vendor on here named Zeus. He can give you an awesome deal on Megan products. I bought my entire turboback through him and it was to my door in 3 days! Fit and finish are great and price can not be beat! And honestly, the whole exhaust is just a bunch of 3 in. mandrel piping. They are all the same with the exception of the muffler. Fitment is the important thing.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Been absent from the forum for quite some time now.
Irregardless, I've been searching thru the forums and posts, but have yet to find what I'm looking for. I have a Greddy Ti-C Catback Exhaust on my Evo IX SE and am trying to find out which DP fits the best (clearance, flanges fitting, etc.). So far, I have gathered that a few guys with the same car as I have a variation of DP's b/t HKS, Turbo XS Evo 3" DP, and DC Sports. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
