I have the megan o2 housing, downpipe, test pipe and catback. Have been very happy with the product. My DP comes pretty close to the oil pan though, not sure if this is a common issue though.

I put my downpipe on yesterday and it sits close to the oil pan as well. haven't heard it vibrating against it though.

It'll smell like "extra horsepower" if you don't have the cat. hahaha

I melted my HFC into a brick which caused to much back pressure that resulted in a very cracked manifold. Not worth it imo

Road Race Engineering has a great downpipe for the ix. It clears all the parts it is well made. It is full 3" it is reasonably priced, and it uses the stock spring screws and gasget on the stock O2 housing.

Your exhaust goes as follows...

-from the engine to the front of ur head through the exhaust mainifold, down to the turbo's hotside, down to the o2 housing, down to the downpipe, to test pipe, to cat-back.

hope that clears it all up for u

Go with Tanabe!!! Fits perfectly...yeah it's 2.75" but you won't notice the .25" on a stock or green turbo. It clears the stock bars and oilpan beautifully. Price wise it might be a little more but you can find some vendors that are willing to bargain.
