Clutch Clicking Noise

Hey guys,

When the car is in neutral and and I fully depress the clutch and slowly let the clutch out there is a clicking noise that is pretty audible. Anyone else notice this? I've tried searching but no luck. Thanks in advance EvoM.

Well when I fully depress the clutch pedal and slowly let out.. Right about at the friction point where the clutch is suppose to grab (I'm in neutral) theres an audible "clicking" noise. Thats pretty much as specific as I can get. And it happens everytime I think, even when actually shifting gears and what not.

Bump for an answer! It might be the clutch pedal itself if that helps.. Or some mechanism that deals with the clutch pedal.

This is common on the 2004-2006 Lancer Ralliarts. It clicks right around the pressure points. Mine has done it a couple times then normally stops a few days later. Not sure if it is the same thing or not but if it is it is not a serious problem. Just annoying.

Hmmmm I'm not sure if it is still there, but it is re-occuring right? Like somedays it'll be gone and some days it'll come back?

Yeah it comes and goes. A lot of Ralliart owners have reported hearing a clicking from time to time but it always goes away. In the end we just determined it wasn't too serious. Probably just something sticking slightly.
