Rubber/Plastic Tools
Rubber/Plastic Tools
When I was getting my audio system installed, I noticed the guy using a blue rubber or hard plastic flathead to pry out the radio bezel. I'm interested in where I can find these kind of tools so I can pop it out myself to change to a new HU. It's rubber/plastic so it won't scratch our vinyl/trims. A link or where to buy would be great, Thanks!

let me know you have questions.
How the heck did you use your hands haha. I saw my installer use it to go in between the bezel and vinyl to pry it out. hehe Teach me!!
Thanks roadspike and hytek.
i start prying with my fingers gently by the "max a/c" and the "defogger" logos (it has to be gently since it is sharp, so watch your fingers)
basically, there are 6 plastic snaps. 2 on the bottom, which i detached first with instructions i listed above. then i work toward the 2 corner ones.
i found a pic of the back of this panel.

i also found some detailed instructions. i didnt see these until after i did mine, but it was pretty easy, even without instructions.
