Smile Hello All

hey all, i was dropping in to say hello.

i used to own a 99 eclipse gsx til i sold it for another turbo awd car. i really enjoyed driving around in my eclipse, so my heart was set for an evo ...

then due to a few license problems and bills as well as female associate issues, my income started to decline, and had to settle for an 02 wrx.

it was an okay car ... but wasnt as fun.
so i sold it.

now im in the market for an evo hopefully within my budget. anyone know any?
19k or below
preferably stock
decent mileage

19k is possible, stock probably isn't... typically no stock (i.e. pre-'05/'06) evos around these days and if there is, they'll be a lot more than $19k.

if "decent mileage" is around 50k, yeah 19k is doable.

I got mine this May for 18K, its an '03 with 40K miles.

It was not stock during its life, but was converted back to stock. For me this was ok, I was left with a Stage 3 BR block, head, intake, and TB, as well as a bushwacker tranny. All the built-on where converted back to stock.....

I did the parts swaps back to stock, so I know it was done right, and all the mods before where done by David Bushur personally, the car is solid, so I bought it!

yeah! He orignally wasnt going to sell the car, but sell the parts off, and keep the car, then figured it would be best to sell the car too.....I was doing the work of converting the car back to stock.... so I knew what was left, and when he said, man Im going to have to sell the car, I think..... I told him, no problem, its sold, and the rest is history. By the way, the car made 620HP on Bushurs dyno before it was turned back to stock :-( Im going to get there again, maybe 700 :-)

Sorry, not trying to jack your thread, just know the deals are out there, and keep looking till you find what you want, its out there. Also find out history about the car if you can, so far from what I have seen, people take generally very good care of their evos, even when they are moded, so if it was tastfully modded, and taken care of, I say buy a modded evo.

I know where there is a super clean Evo 8 like it is so clean....!.... veilside body kit on it also with some new parts.
go here-->http://tinyurl.com/5kkclw it's a link to the AutoTrader Page..... the current price is $14500 but you could get it cheaper. Full bolton mods new clutch tires..etc and 310whp..but the kicker it has 100K on the mileage...but like I said it's one of the cleanest Evo's I've ever seen.

19k is a little low, but I think you can find an 03 for that price with roughly 50k miles. Expect they will be modified at some point or another with that price range. Unmodified ones are pricier and more in demand since it's so rare to find them like that.

Its possible just look for deals. I got my 03 with 36k miles for $16k. And it was stock except for drop in air filter, and slotted rotors.

You can defitnetly find one for around that price. You just have to be willing to travel.
