Is it possible to pair the AMS exhaust with a test pipe from another manufacturer? I thought I read somewhere that if you buy the AMS exhaust, you need to use the AMS testpipe and downpipe. Is that true? Or will it bolt up to any test pipe?

Specifically, I'm interested in the RRE rally cat...

AMS uses a 3 bolt flange. Thus the answer to your question is, no it will not bolt up to any test pipe.
