also its tough to know if a vehicle is stock if it has just been converted back to stock after being heavily modded- look at all the WTB threads where people are going back to stock...

You can save yourself A TON of money by buying modded. My Evo for sale easily has over 5k of ONLY high quality parts that I am selling for less than some stock Evo's(yeah right, most of these have been RETURNED to stock after mods, which is worse for the car) with higher mileage. Plus, its going to be hard to find one that has been meticulously taken care of like mine. All maintenance recently done as well including fluids, brakes, and tires.

Let me know what you think.

+700 If you can find one that is guarenteed stock, it still has a chance of being beaten on, but I'd get that one. Chances are, you can't guarentee it has always been stock, so I'd go for a lightly modded one and save yourself some time and money.

And why the **** do you need a sunroof? Seriously, I had an S2k for 2 years, the Evo for 3 years without one didn't bother me... And the Porsche's rarely gets used out of a feeling for need... more like I put it back whenever I open the windows just for kicks. If I could have the C4 without a sunroof, I would.

I'd get the red one and forget about the sunroof.

Yeah I have read all the info throughout the site about buying, I defiantly want to stay away from the returned to stock ones.

TheBlueBlur: I have actually looked at your car several times! I love the blue. Also gives me a reason to visit Chicago again. But right now I'm looking for an SSL and slowly learning they are very hard to find.

Sorry guys I really want the sunroof (for now), just one of those things. I likes me some sun!

Thanks again for all the input!

Def stockers...that way there is less of a chance that the car was dogged hard although you can never be too certain. Also, if you get it stock you can get the mods that YOU want and from brands that YOU want as opposed to getting a car that you may not be a fan of certain mods.

Stock is the way to go in any car. You can customize it the way you want and not have to un-do someone elses mods because you dont like them.

Sunroof adds over 40lbs to the worst place it could possibly be, and raises the center of gravity. The Alcantara/leather seats actually hold you in better and and don't heat up nearly as much as the all leather seats.

Besides Mitsu leather quality sucks anyway.

Hit me up if you change your mind. I would love to sell my car to a fellow enthusiast instead of being forced to take all of the mods off.

Yeah that's the next step to quality check everything. Really want that sunroof (obviously adding one is not an option) but the leather seats aren't high on the list. So one may out weigh the other, just want to see one in person first. I'm not to concerned about the extra weight or raising the center of gravity. I will never be racing, maybe a few runs up 129 but that's about it.

Shipping is defiantly not in the cards. I'm actually looking forward to flying where ever and driving it back. Just hope I'm not driving back in a rental! I'm going do plenty of research before lift off.
