Question about Greddy type-s BOV
I am lookin into buying the greddy type-s BOV and someone told me that there universal so it would fit my 05 evo 8 if it does fit what other parts would i need to buy in order for it to be installed? thanks for your timee
you will need a recirculating kit that greddy sells for EVOs.
personally, I really wouldnt recommend this BOV... I still have it in my car... it runs fine and holds boost time but OVERTIME, you will tend to see the diaphragm needs replacement, and will end up leaking. I ended up getting my type-s repaired and now theres no more leaks. I can hold up to 25 psi just fine.
I dont know if you are getting this BRAND NEW.... the type-S models are discontinued so I am guess you are getting them used... if you end up getting it.. make sure you get the diaphragm replaced. Its like a $80 part. after that should be no worries for another 2-3 years.
you can go on the greddy website and purchase that diaphragm there.
