new guy here with some q's

whats up guys ? my name is alex. i found this forum while looking through some back issues of import tuner with a blue evo 8 and saw the sticker on there so checked it out. i was driving a b16a civic hatchback till it was stolen. here it is

i was going to get a g35 when i discovered that evo 8's could be in my price range. heres my question how much should i look to pay for an evo 8 with around 40000 miles ? also how reliable are they and gas mileage? last how long will this car last me if i mantain properly? i know the 4g63 is indestructable but i cant find any reviews on the reliability. my plans arent anything crazy some suspension work and some basic bolt ons thanks for the help in advance

well you can probably find a couple of 8's in the mid teens for price range. i think my friend saw one for 17500 on autotrader with a quite of bit of mods and very low miles. not to long ago i saw a 8 for sale on the forum from washington and that car was clean and only for 18k and it was own by a older gentlemen with minor mods. look around especially in the for sale section.

as long as the owner before you took care of it the car shouldnt give you any problems. my main concern would be the drivetrain. i get around 25mpg on highway with mine. (atleast from my last trip). as long as your not boosting every second you should be fine.
