Ok so bassicly i dont evenm know how to explain this but i just bought my 05 evo with 21k miles on it a couple weeks ago first day driving it home out of state felt incredible and fast until last night i raced a stock 09 mkv GTI and a wrx with full TBE, up and down pipe , and intake got destroyed by both prior to this it felt like my car was getting slower and slower until now it sounds and feels like my turbo is not even spooling. i went to a local mitsubisi dealer and took a guy for a ride and he said theres deffinitley somthing wrong, i scheduled an appt. in a week from now for a full check at the mitsubishi garage , i only know so much about cars if you have any clue wat could be wrong pleaseeee help me out thank youu

ok gti last i checked is a 2.0 turbo slow like really slow no way an 05 evo which i guess is the 8 right ? would lose to a gti. and the wrx has been known to make great power with basic mods and a reflash seen in import tuner test and tune. either these guys were lying to you or you just suck at driving
used evos are a pain in the a$$...urs was probably previously modified and the old owner did a quick back-to-stock fix for the trade in. could be that when he took of his boost controller, the restictor pills that would be in the stock lines are not there so u arent making normal boost

and wat would i do to have to fix this these kids r my freinds i know what they have done my car is completley stock and im a better driver then both of them

1. previous owner had a boost controller and removed it but did not replace the restrictor pill, this will cause you to run only 12psi
2. the previous owner had mods and got tuned, removed all the mods but left the tune on the car
3. an engine on the way out (low compression or bad leakdown)
4. catastrophic failure, then hacked back together to sell (personal experience here).... look at my sig to see the result of that
take your car to a local shop (swift, the shop, pruven, etc) and pay them an hours labor to go over the car and tell you exactly what the deal is. an evo specific shop will be much better than the dealer.
you should at least get your spark plugs replaced and get compression and leakdown tests, change the oil if you havent done so already, change your transfer and rear diff fluids, check for boost leaks.

Im located in shelton like im experiencing the worst problem it pure engine i scheduled the date to a local mitubishi dealer this coming monday for a check through for 95 $
Check your IC hoses, vacuum lines and LIC pipe to see if you have blown one off. Do a boost leak test. Is there a cel light on? Any weird noises, like a loud pop? More info might help.
I would take it to the SHOP which is in Conn ( even if you have to have a flat bed take it there). The stealer may not be able to tell you exactly what is wrong.

Like it runs but its just pure engin sometime weird idles no pops or anything maybe a radle hear or there nothing serious noise whys no lights on just no turbo somone told me it could b somhthing clocked in my intake and just the enigne would rub but no turbo caz no air they said take the filter off and run it without it they said it wont hurt and my clear it ?
