AEM is Carb Legal, and does a good job of keeping the IAT's down.

ARC is one of the best, if not the best at keeping the IAT's down, but NOT Carb Legal!

I have the Injen w/ LICP and UICP, does an ok job at keeping the IAT's down, loud and NOT Carb Legal! I didnt wanna spend the $$$ for the ARC, but if you can handle it, go for it!

You may want to see what Evo-specific vendors offer; their products have been tested on hundreds and hundreds of cars just like yours.

just keep the stock airbox. intake isnt going to really help you at all. start with exhaust.

I keep hearing so many different opinions about intakes. I want something that gives my turbo a little sound w/o affecting the idle. Idk if it gives me 10 hp or not as long as it's not $250. If it is $250 it better give me some performance. I had a CAI on my MkV GTi and I loved the sound. It gave me just a little performance, but the sound made my car fun to drive.

And blow off valve are a bit too much in the sound department.

I'm not sure but I've been seeing Apexi as having the best HP gains and the best filtration.

if you wanna hear the intake sucking in air (sounding like the turbo spooling, sorta) and psssht as if you had a BOV, when u let off, then Injen will do the trick! I wasnt logging my car @ the time, but I felt a lil gain in spool and top end.
