just picked her up
hey guys, my name is james. i just picked up my evo after months of searching and carfaxing.. Shes an 06 GG GSR with only 9k miles. One of my buddies passed by a local dealership around midnight the night this car was traded in or put on the lot and the next day i had a deposit on it, and about fifteen angry people waiting for me to change my mind. Has an exhaust, drop in filter, mini battery and supposodly a downpipe. I plan to keep it stock for a little, maybe do some modding in the summer.
my goals are to eventually have a reliable 400whp for DD, even though ill prob get a beater to keep miles down.
hope to learn a lot while on the forums, will post up pics once i get the chance.

i was one of the 15 people if its the same Evo that was at Saturn of Mount Olive... the car was going for $24,995 and only 9,xxx miles!! looked really clean.... def a good buy! congrats you lucky mo' fo' LOL...

thanks man, they def didnt know how much it was worth, the last place in the world i thought id find my car from is a saturn dealership too
sloevo.. where in nj are you from.. i know that the place i actually bought my car from has car meet sometimes in the subaru parking lot that they own.. im in ledgewood nj which is morris county

DSM.. idk what exactly your looking for but did u look at the 06 gg in randolph on rt 10? i test drove it , it rode well but was in pretty bad cosmetic shape.. also had very high miles, 58k, and some mods.. the previous owner had evom stickers on it too. they listed it at 20k but i wouldnt want it in that condition, maybe if they were giving it away

that... and the old guy who they had look at my trade-in, swore to god my car has been repainted.... and i was like DUDE! this car was bought brand new off the lot and its never been in any kind of accident, no paint work, etc...
and... they originally wanted $24k for the car and were only offering me $9k for my trade-in... i eventually talked them down to $20k for the evo and give me $10.5k for my trade... but still........ theres just too many scratches, dings, etc on that evo to justify buying it at that price! lol, you know how much it would cost to get the whole car re-painted..? they were just like, "yea, its a used car... what do you expect?".......... i was like "you guys are crazy, ill keep searching.."
