Is this a real MR?

Saw this on autotrader, it says its an MR? I thought MR's had the MR badge below the shifter? And its a 5 speed.

I didn't think the MR came in Electric Blue? I see the trunk is CF and emblems removed. What other differences are there between the MR and a GSR that anyone can spot?

Its in the description and it also says "blue Meridian peral" paint. Looks like an VIII with IX seats, BBS's and vortex gen... right.

^looks like Electric blue though, not a custom color. Did VIII's come in electric blue?

but you said its like Merdian Blue....? So he either got it custom painted or just changed the name of the paint for the heck of it

yeah, I saw the wheels, the VG, and the 9 interior. I'm not buying it, a co-worker is looking at it and is convinced its a MR.

The dead give away to tell if its a true Evo MR is the bulge from the aluminum roof.

I don't think it is an mr unless the original owner really tried to make it not look like an mr. The tranny could have been swapped for a 5 spd. A lot of people do it. Take the VIN# and call the dealership. They should be able to tell you.
