Introduction and Mod questions

Hello all I'm new to this thread and new to owning an Evo, 2008 RR MR as of November 23rd. No pictures yet but will try to get some by this weekend.

I want to do some minor mods on this car but nothing to extreme as it's my only car atm and I want to keep it fun and reliable. I already bought a drop in filter from The Works but in the near future I want to a cat back exhaust system. Any ideas on a good brand to use and a good installer in the northern Colorado area? I don't want it louder then it already is, don't desire the attention. After that I'd like to give it a good tune but I don't know of anyone in my area that would be trusted to do that.

Welcome to the club. For exhaust systems, there's quite a few choices and most will be pretty loud, but what will really bring the attention is how heavy you are on the go fast pedal.

Pictures for everyone. Car is kinda dirty due to a winter storm last week, didn't wash it because we're expecting another one tomorrow. Thank goodness my area doesn't use salt on the roads, they use sand.

so i nop mine is an IX but i plan to do S1s(springs, retainers, headstuds), 22 or 24 psi, TBE(HFC), intake, intercooler and lower IC pipe, tuned, lowering springs, rims, good but not to much stereo, maybe 4 point harness's, and still plan to have it reliable, i want my car to last, i will have a little beater for crapy weather but my car will be, or shoul;d be as reliable as stock, because of headstuds and springs and all that, and i dont really drive hard unless its need, mine is used for a cool tuner/quik/fast/sporty, well handling DD, that will get parked when weather gets to extreme
