Hi guys, I just got a 2003 OZ Lancer Automatic and I have been reading all the forums and it seems like everyone has a different approach to tricking out their Lancer. I'm not familiar with cars at all except from what i've read so far but i do want to get into it! What i'm looking for is a list of common upgrades that will not void my warranty on my lancer. So far it seems the most common is a new exhaust system, a cool air intake and possibly a computer chip? How much horse power do the stock lancers have and how much extra horse power would be gained from these upgrades? What other upgrades are avaliable? I'm wanting to make this a show car and also eventually i may not care about my warranty and want to try and make a 10 second car. Who knows!

Thanks for any input, and again i'm a big newb, i tried reading as much as i could but it all seems over my head right now, but i am learning slowly.

there is an upgrade path on the evom.net home page. check it out. very useful stuff.

the stock lancer has 120hp. not much.

theres A LOT of upgrades out there. mostly from ///RRM. i HOPE youve checked out their site. www.roadracemotorsports.com in case you havent. its basically them or RMR. theyre the pioneers for the lancer upgrades.

BTW, since you have an automatic you CANT get a Cold Air Intake (CAI). only thing that will fit an auto is a short ram intake. if you didnt know.

Whats the performance difference between short intake compared to a cool intake? Anyone know anything about any chips or what exhaust would be the best? Can i turbo my Automatic Lancer?
