New Evo Owner w/ a few questions

Hey everyone! I just bought my EVO X GSR yesterday. I never thought I could be in love with a car like I am with this one. It is incredibly fast and looks amazing. In the last 24 hours I have gotten so many compliments that it feels like I am driving a lambo. Regardless, I have a few questions that I couldn't find on other threads so I was curious if I could get a few questions answered. Here they are: 1. What is the stock boost psi? I did a google search and could come up with anything. The dealer had no idea (it was almost like I was speaking a different language to him). 2. Where is a good resource to look up places to get my car tuned? I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I want some place that is trust worthy and isn't going to pull a "Ferris Buellers Day Off" type maneuver with my car. A search engine or a directory that has customer ratings would be very helpful. Thanks for the help!

Evoixjohn: thanks for the website! I do plan on taking my time with my it. I mean, considering that so little can void the power train warranty I don't want to go nuts right away. I defiantly want to avoid stereotypical mods like BOVs and 4 inch glass pack tailpipes. Just slow, controlled increases to horsepower. THEMEMPHISFORCE: It is Rally red. It seems to be the most popular color because I had to drive 40 minutes into Kentucky before I found the one I wanted. I will post some pictures when it stops raining.

More Questions...

So I have been checking these forums and I noticed that there is a paint chipping issue from the tires. I do not have the aero kit on my Evo so with only 168 miles I feel that I am susceptible. Ever since I found out I haven't moved my car, which has been hard because its new and its an incredible car to drive. I would have posted in the sticked thread but it seems hijacked and a bit old. What does everyone suggest as a viable option going forward? Go back to the dealer and pay for the aero kit? Order and install rally armor mudflaps (which look better then regular flaps but still look as horrible as mudflaps can look on a street car)? Get my car covered in a 3M covering? Another question in a completely different area but why do my stock brake discs rust so quickly? The car was sitting outside for less then 24 hours and there was rust already plus the brake dust is all over. I am not braking hard at all and dust is everywhere! Thanks again!

You got big brakes and a pretty open wheel, so all the dust comes on the wheel. Nothing to worry about. I wouldn't worry about the paint issue, almost every vehicle I have ever owned has done that. Just drive it and enjoy it and in a few years if it is an eye sore, get that part repainted not a big deal.

I would get the 3m clear covering, it doesnt look terrible and for the long run I think it saves your paint.
But I am very nit picky with my stuff, I hate paint chips/rock chip. I have re-painted my hood a few times because of it.
