NOOB in da house!!

OK, so I just bought a 2004 GSR,

I also ordered a tactrix cable open port kit, a K&N typhoon intake (red), a GM boost selonoid w/ pigtail, and I got a 3" magnaflow for free.(I love owning a performance shop)
I also ordered a vortex generator, an autometer elec. boost and elec. oil pressure gauge w/ 3 pod pillar, AEM UEGO, Mishimoto hose kit, JGS 40mm recirc BOV, and a whole bunch of other retarded exterior stuff.

I was just wondering if any of you had any other parts that you consider must haves. If you have any suggestions please refer......

I am not new to DSM's but I am new to EVO's. I should tell you that I also have a 650hp turbo mustang that is no where near as fun to drive as this lil' mitsu LOL.

Thanks for reading,
Rob@modularturbo

I installed the exhaust and WOW huge difference. Before it had a slight power loss at 5000rpm in a WOT blast, i figured it was due to timing being pulled back by the ECM because of knock. Well that is gone now, which is cool LOL.

I will continue posting up results as the rest of the parts come in.

Thanks for reading,

Update:

I just scored a brand new EVO 9 turbo, stock 9 O2 housing, and Exedy twin disk for 850. I also got a cryo treated and micropolished T-case ring and pinion with an upgraded case for 100 bucks. SOOOOOOOOOO SICK
Goodness its fun being friends with the owner of the local Mitsu dealer!!!!

Anybody have any suggestions as far as what else to get....?

I'm just on here to talk about my car and read about others' cars isn't that what a car forum is for??

If it would have happened to you I would have been stoked for you man.

In regards to the "35r kit" since I have 3 35r's in stock I would probably just build my own kit. I have no wanting to make my EVO a drag car so I most likely won't be doing that. I made this thread to get advice on the pros and cons of the bolt ons that I am going to be putting on the car, thats all. I am not trying to gloat or brag, I don't care how cool people think I am, I am not cool and I am over weight I just love cars so lets keep the personal critiques to a minimum and only focus on the car stuff, especially since its a Car Forum.....

Well I installed a wideband and elec. boost gauge yesterday. Not as much boost as I thought it had. It spikes up to 20psi then quickly settles to 15-16psi. I guess the stock tune is trying to pull boost due to the bolt ons.

I went to the track too, its 1/8th mile. I went 8.5X@82 with a 1.8 60ft

I flat foot shifted the 1-2 and the 2-3, I don't think that WOT shifting the 2-3 is worth very much though.

Any opinions??

Thanks
Rob

Sorry but its against the rules of the forum for me to offer you anything, I am not a registered vendor.

I would call MAPERFORMANCE they are really good guys and will take care of you. I talk to them often, I use them for some of my customers and have always been taken care of quite well.
