Well im newly married and ive been a HUGE fan of the evo x mr, infact ive been trying to sell my F350 show truck to buy one, well dont have to but ide like to keep payments under 200/mo..


Well heres my delema, about 2 days ago we found out we are pregnant.. Which is a blessing however... Now i have to get her a car before i get me one.. again thats fine... but she also said "no evo now" because of the baby..


I need all the safety info etc... i need yall to help me find some way to convince her.... Ive got an 06 mustang gt with a blower, str8 pipes, intake, blah blah blah.. yet an evo seems unsafe.. I want the evo mainly because it looks great i think... i live about 1 hr from the nearest ski resort (sierra summit) and awd would be awesome.. i dont enjoy trucks anymore so i want a car. I also love the SST.... please spare the flaming ive driven a bunch and read all reviews...

ps. does anyone take their kids out in the evo ? maybe some info on car seat mounts etc would be awesome.. this is my first child.

 

The evo is essentially a family car anyways... convince your wife on a basic lancer first then throw in the added safety of AWD and better handling of the evo. maybe tell her she can pick which colour aswell, this might work, haha

compare the new evo x body to the older evo VIII/IX and show her how much stronger it is. Just don' let her know it's another evo you're comparing it to.

Thats how I got my evo back in 05. Needed something with four doors and not modded. Went and test drove a used 03 with her and she agreed. Putting a kid in a modded two door just didn't seem right.

 

i thought the X has better safety feature then the 8/9. maybe u can use that as a reason. lol

 

Besides is mitsu still doing 0%? Tell her how much money in intrest you'll be saving. Plus how reliable a new car is with warrenty.

tell here about the huge tax cut under the new stimuls you'll get for buying a car in 09 .
