Hello guys, I'm back again. To answer your question Mac, I believe you can import cars in from Canada. I can't see why you couldn't even just import them from Japan if you really wanted to.

 

A Skyline is basically a G35/G37, it is nothing special. GT-T comes with RB25 turbo engine, which also rates at 280PS but tuneability and actual performance is very very different (I believe it may have been called GTS-T for R32). Since you said 'Skyline' and not a 'Skyline GT-R' so yes, that is correct. But remember that the difference between Skyline GT-T and Skyline GT-R is like G37 vs Nissan GT-R.

Skyline GT-R chassis codes are BNR32, BNCR33 and BNR34.

Try going to Yahoo Japan auction and search for actual GT-R's. BNR32 costs only 500,000 yen, so if that 700,000 yen for GTS-T is before the shipping and all the paper works, you are actually getting ripped off. BNR34 V-Spec II's still cost between 5 - 6 million yen though.

 

Thanks for that 4Trouble. I found a really nice Nissan 180SX S13, with an S15 Conversion for the interior and body. It looks nice, it's close by me too so I might look into it. Does anyone know anything about the S13's? Also I was looking into the GT-R over other Skylines, unfortunately the V-Spec is like you said, 5-6Million YEN, or $40,000 +.
