So Im curious if any of you guys have had this issue for those who live in somewhat colder climates. Im from Minnesota and I drive an 03 OZ. It was probably about 50 2 days ago, yesturday it was around 40 and today it was raining in the morning and changed to snow and its now about 10. Yea this weather sucks. Anyways, I noticed when I am driving and the rpms get down the car almost shuts off. It gets way down, the lights fade a little and its almost like as if I have it in gear without the clutch in with no gas but it will barely hold. Does anyone else have this issue? What could it be?
I was talking to a guy about ways to improve my accel. with the car and he was saying pull the throttle towards the passenger side to turn it up a little, he said it will give you more rpms without pushing the peddle in too far. I was thinking would this cure my issue with the cold too since it would run at higher rpms? Right now when I idle it idle's at 500 rpms compared to the 1000 it does when its nice out. So does anyone know what the deal is?
