Throttle Phenomenon

Hey guys, so went and did an autocross today in the IX, and I noticed a weird problem. So everytime at the end of the course after I crossed the finish and put the car in neutral and started slowing down, the engine revs remain at high rpms and VEEERRRRYYYY slowly drop. After the revs drop, (takes about 10 seconds from 6500 rpms) the throttle response returns to normal and the car drives fine. So I'm confused what could be causing the throttle to "stick" only after driving the card hard for 60 seconds and not anytime else. Any thoughts?

No this is clearly a different issue. The revs are not magically going to 5500k rpms. They are falling after running the car at high rpms very slowly and then after 10-15seconds the throttle response is restored as normal

This has been discussed for years. Its an emissions programming. After a WOT pull the ECU holds the revs high to breathe out the spend gases. If you push your clutch in when its doing this, it will revert back to normal.
