Time for a new clutch.. need some input

I'm changing out the OEM mitsu clutch to an ACT streetlite clutch and debating between a ACT prolite/streetlite flywheel; 13.3 lbs vs 10 lbs fyi. I really need the clutch soon because my gears are slipping and grabbing at real high RPMs (bout 3.5 grand) Plus it just makes the car NO fun to drive at all

Is it imperative that I also change the pressure plate or will I be fine changing the flywheel, clutch disc and throw out bearing?

change out the pressure plate also (buy the entire ACT kit, if thats what you want) and youll be fine with the streetlite flywheel

I really can't stand to drive the car with the clutch in it's current condition and money is an issue right now so I've decided to just get the clutch and get that installed for the time being. ACT recommends changing the flywheel as well. Is that necessary?
