whats up everyone im new to this forum. i have a blue evo x gsr sss. im dieing to go wingless...the title says it all. i called a local dealer and they want 395 for one unpainted. i think its a little pricey. any one know any sites where i can buy one for cheaper? any connects? IM DIEING TO GO WINGLESS! HELP! thank you!! part number would be great also thanks again!

 

If you would go as far as buying a new trunk lid, why not just yank the spoiler, then have a body shop fill the holes left behind?

 

Better yet, why not make an improvement and go CF. It wouldn't cost much more than the dealer wants for the Lancer DE version, and you can still get it painted to match.

Your best bet would be to find a guy with a Lancer DE who wants a wing and do a swap + cash. You'll end up with money instead of shelling out. Shipping would be a little frustrating, but if you can find someone local, that should work out great.

 

i tried doing the swap. just gave up. and the whole point is that i want 2 trunk lids. one with the wing and one with out. cf trunk lid costs 600 before shipping. 750 after shipping. thats more then a painted oem trunk lid

 

You can order it straight from a Mitsu dealer's parts department. List on the DE trunk with no wing is $358.41. They only come non-painted.
