Just installed a 58mm turbo kit from ETS. Since I dont have a tune, I ran the line from the turbo to the Tial wastegate which has a 15lb spring, assuming Id be boosting about 15lbs or so. However It jumps to ~25 and Ive tried both ports.

Any ideas? Should I hookup an MBC and tighten it down in between the turbo and wastegate?

 

I'm having the same problem with my turbo kit, I'm using the tial 44mm wastegate and I can't seem to get the boost to come down it just keeps hittin like 25psi and then I think the gate opens

not to sure but I think I heard it dump

 

I have the ETS 58 trim kit on my car. With a vaccum line ran straight from the turbo to the wastegate, it does open around 15psi on spring pressure only...

Don't mess with a MBC inbetween them, that will only raise the boost from where you're at now.

Just stomp on it and see where the boost stops raising...Just kidding...sort of...

 

well I figured out my problem, I was an idiot and had the vacuum lines hooked in the wrong place, but I swapped them and I was boostin 21psi flat on wastegate alone, which is suppose to be the combo spring for 17psi but I guess the turbo is buildin too much boost lol

it took bout a good couple hours of pokin round til I noticed vacuum lines lol

also side note EWG is f'n loud, think I scared all the animals and little children away hahaha
