My name is Drew and I am going to be a Evo X MR owner in about 8 hours. Cant wait. I have heard nothing but good things. It has the technology package.

I am from rural Missouri and work in a hospital in IT. My previous cars include a totaled 2002 WRX, a 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera, and soon an Evo.

Is there anything thing I should now right of the bat about the Evo? I have been trolling the forums for the last couple of days and have learned a great deal.

why did you dump the porsche, that looks like a sweet ride.

 

It was my weekend car. After I totaled the Subaru it became my DD. It was just too harsh as a daily driver and too expensive to maintain. $2900 for a clutch and $1400 for tires. Plus in Missouri I need something that will get me through all seasons, hence the AWD Evo.

Subaru owners are not allowed in these forums! JK You will love a X goot luck! I used to own a 02 wrx had it up to 340ish hp flywheel I just loved it.

 

Yeah, it was an awesome car. Had 140K on it and not a single problem besides brakes, oil and tires.

 

Well i received my MR last night. Is there anything I should be aware off?

What options did you get? Technology Package, Navigation Package?

I got the Navi and the fancy stereo.

 

1.Change engine's oil every 3000 miles, Other wise you will avoid your warranty!
2.Premium gas only!
3.Always remember to warm up first, Then push it hard, Dont forget to cool off as well!

 

I thought it was every 5000 miles? And do they use synthetic?
