This bad if you have fire coming out of the exhaust during an upshift?

 

pretty badass...I'd say. I see a lot of evo's doing it though..the cars are usually tuned in a way that the fuel is running rich during your gear change and would assume the excess gas combusted in the down pipe/exhaust pipe. Lot of burned plastic and black crap on the diffuser of almost every evo I've seen.

yea thats funny because we were talking about how my car runs rich and yea it does have a bunch of carbon on the rear bumper from the exhaust

from what i know red flames are bad, in other hand blue flames are good.....

 

usually means your running too rich between gears....only think I would think it would be bad for is your rear bumper

 

Im sure it happens to me alot, Im running catless and Ive had no problems.

Ive gotten remarks like "holy $hit your car shoots flames"

 

yeah I like it!!! Mine are blue though.
